Worker Experiences and Salary Increases

DeMond Chambliss, for example, transitioned from owning a small drywall company in Columbus, Ohio, to a supervisory position at a data center construction project. His annual income now exceeds $100,000.

He expressed his satisfaction, stating to the Journal, “I pinch myself going to work every day.”

In Oregon, Marc Benner, an electrical safety specialist, earns $225,000 per year. Andrew Mason, an electrician, earns over $200,000 while overseeing teams at six data centers located in Northern Virginia.

Beyond increased base salaries, companies are attracting and retaining workers through a variety of appealing benefits.

These include amenities such as heated break areas, complimentary meals, and daily performance-based bonuses.
