Over recent months, Twitter has been actively introducing several improvements to Spaces, aiming to enhance user experience and increase adoption.

A Spaces Recording feature was recently released to iOS testers, with a wider global rollout planned. This allows hosts to activate a “Record Space” option prior to commencing a live audio session.

Following the session's conclusion, the recording can be disseminated across Twitter, enabling listeners to access the content on demand or share it further.

Additional Updates and Features

Twitter has also initiated a test phase bringing a dedicated Spaces Tab to Android users. Alongside this, updates have been made to simplify the process of sending direct message (DM) invitations.

To further boost visibility, popular Spaces are now being featured within the Explore tab on iOS.

Competitive Landscape: Clubhouse's Response

Clubhouse has also been actively updating its platform to maintain its competitive standing.

Recent additions include support for asynchronous listening, encompassing features like clips, replays, and audio exports.

Furthermore, Clubhouse has expanded its language support to include 13 new languages: French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Malayalam, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Tamil, and Telugu.
