Troy Carter & Suzy Ryoo Launch Venice Innovation Labs - Music Tech

Q&A, a company creating technology solutions for the music business and established by experienced industry professionals Troy Carter (who initially managed Lady Gaga) and Suzy Ryoo (a long-term partner of Carter’s), has introduced a new collection of software products via its Venice Innovation Labs division.

According to a company announcement, these new resources are intended to assist record companies in previewing songs during the testing phase, overseeing artist relationships, and streamlining music distribution processes.

The initial offerings from this new division include StreamRate, a tool that analyzes public reaction to unreleased songs; and Venice For Labels, a platform for managing artist royalties, tracking music distribution, and maintaining artist databases for record labels.

The company is supplementing its technology with personalized support through a dedicated marketing and consulting team offering “Premium Services,” with leadership provided by Ray Kurzeka in North America and Matt Ott in the U.K.

“The music landscape is evolving quickly due to technological advancements, but the supporting systems within our industry have not kept pace. We have been diligently developing user-friendly and effective tools that record labels will find valuable, alongside services designed to deliver results. Our goal is to foster a genuine network that empowers both talented artists and the labels that champion them every day,” stated Suzy Ryoo, president of Q&A.
