Tudum: Thousands of Netflix Fans Gather for Global Event

Netflix's Tudum Event Unveils Exciting New Content
Last night, Netflix hosted its annual Tudum marketing event, revealing a wealth of trailers and announcements for highly anticipated series and films.
Key projects highlighted included updates on “Squid Game,” “Wednesday,” and the upcoming fifth season of “Stranger Things.”
Tudum's First Livestream and In-Person Attendance
This year marked a significant change for Tudum, as the event was livestreamed directly on the Netflix platform for the first time.
Previously, the event was broadcast via YouTube.
Despite the livestream, a substantial number of fans—approximately 9,500—attended the event in person at the Kia Forum in Southern California.
Attendees hoped to catch a glimpse of their preferred actors and musicians.
A Diverse Fanbase
Lady Gaga, who performed at the event and is slated to appear as a guest star on “Wednesday,” was a major draw.
Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the unique ability of Netflix to unite such a diverse audience.
She stated that no other studio could bring together fans of “WWE,” “Knives Out,” and Lady Gaga in the same space.
Lee affirmed that this capability is exclusive to Netflix.
Key Announcements: "Stranger Things 5" and "Frankenstein"
Among the announcements, the most notable may be the planned release strategy for “Stranger Things 5.”
The final season of the popular, nostalgia-infused horror series will be released in three distinct parts.
The initial installment is scheduled to premiere on November 26th, with the concluding part arriving on New Year’s Eve.
However, considerable anticipation surrounds Guillermo del Toro’s reimagining of “Frankenstein,” which is also expected to launch in November.
