Self-Powered Speakers - Keep the Party Going!

Innovative Bluetooth Speaker Combines Solar Power and Compact Audio Technology
Powerfoyle, a company specializing in light-harvesting materials, has partnered with Mayht, creators of a novel speaker driver technology. This collaboration has resulted in a Bluetooth speaker prototype capable of extended operation, even after prolonged use.
Mayht’s Heartmotion Technology: A Revolution in Speaker Design
Mayht’s Heartmotion technology represents a significant departure from traditional speaker drivers. It enables the creation of speakers that are ten times more compact, considerably flatter, and remarkably lightweight.
The company asserts that this advancement doesn't come at the expense of audio fidelity, range, or output power. Sound quality remains a priority.
A Century of Stagnation Broken
“While consumer electronics have become increasingly powerful and smaller, the fundamental speaker technology hasn’t seen substantial evolution in the last century,” states Mattias Scheek, CEO of Mayht.
“I firmly believe our Heartmotion speaker technology is the breakthrough the industry has long awaited, yet deemed unattainable. It will empower manufacturers to deliver the audio experiences consumers desire from both everyday devices and automotive audio systems.”
Reduced Power Consumption and Solar Integration
Beyond its reduced size and weight, these new drivers require less power compared to conventional speakers offering similar performance. This efficiency is further amplified by integrating Exeger’s Powerfoyle solar cell materials.
Powerfoyle converts both indoor and outdoor light into usable energy. This allows for the development of self-charging, solar-powered products, with this speaker serving as a practical demonstration of its potential.
At CES this year, Blue Tiger Headsets also showcased its Solare, another product utilizing the same solar-charging technology.

“Exeger and Mayht have jointly developed a truly exceptional product with the potential to redefine how we experience music,” says Giovanni Fili, CEO of Exeger.
“Together, we are establishing a new benchmark in the speaker market, offering an uninterrupted listening experience from speakers that deliver outstanding sound.”
This combination of technologies promises a future where portable audio devices are not only compact and high-performing but also sustainably powered.
