Social Network Sequel Casting: Lead Actors Reportedly Found

A Potential Sequel to "The Social Network" is in Development
More than ten years following the release of “The Social Network,” director Aaron Sorkin is allegedly developing a follow-up film.
Discussions suggest the potential sequel may feature two prominent leads.
Focus on Facebook's Controversies
The original 2010 movie centered on the ascent of Mark Zuckerberg. “Social Network Part II,” however, is anticipated to explore the issues detailed in Jeff Horwitz’s “The Facebook Files.”
This book brought to light the detrimental impacts of Facebook on adolescent users and the platform’s involvement in the dissemination of false information.
Potential Casting Choices
Jeremy Allen White, acclaimed for his performance in “The Bear,” is reportedly under consideration to play Jeff Horwitz.
Mikey Madison, recognized for her Oscar-nominated work in “Anora,” is being eyed for the role of Frances Haugen.
Haugen, a former product manager at Facebook, served as the whistleblower who provided information for the articles.
Development Status
Sorkin has reportedly held meetings with both actors regarding these roles.
It’s crucial to understand that the project remains in the development phase and has not yet received official approval (a “greenlight”) from Sony Pictures.
