Visitors to Apple.com will now find the device, highlighted with a red “New” indicator, when browsing the selection of available Mac computers via the primary navigation menu.
Not Available for Purchase
Despite its appearance, the Lumon terminal computer is not currently available for direct purchase.
Its presence on the website functions as a promotional tool for Apple’s streaming platform, Apple TV+, offering a complimentary three-month trial with every Mac computer acquisition.
Boosting Apple’s Services Revenue
This streaming service is a key component of Apple’s expanding services sector.
The services business experienced a 4% growth in the latest financial quarter, reaching $26.34 billion and contributing to Apple’s record-high gross margin.
Extensive “Severance” Marketing Campaign
Recognizing the show’s significant cultural impact, Apple has actively promoted “Severance,” its most popular TV series to date, through various official collaborations.
