After a period of anticipation fueled by several leaks, Sonos and Ikea have officially revealed their newest collaborative product within the Symfonisk line. This latest addition expands the range of home speakers initially launched three years ago.

Design and Aesthetics

The Picture Frame speaker is designed as a medium-sized, flat-panel device. It offers versatile placement options, being suitable for wall mounting or shelf display with the included kickstand.

Consistent with the broader Symfonisk philosophy, the speaker prioritizes unobtrusiveness. It’s intended to seamlessly integrate into its environment, a trend increasingly common in the speaker industry.

The Picture Frame speaker is priced at $199. This positions it as a competitively priced option, particularly considering Sonos’s typical hardware costs.

It incorporates built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and seamlessly integrates with existing Sonos systems. The speaker is compatible with over 100 different streaming services.
