Frequently Asked Questions
Group Membership functionality operates through a designated team leader. This individual will function as the account administrator, overseeing both payment processing and user seat allocation.
For optimal setup, we advise that the administrator be the initial user to register for the Group Membership program.
Assigning user seats can be accomplished during the initial purchase process. Alternatively, seat management is available later via the “My Account” area on TechCrunch.
To manage shared accounts through “My Account,” the administrator should navigate to My Account / Subscription / Manage / Manage Shared Accounts. Valid email addresses for each team member are required for seat assignment.
Upon seat allocation, each team member will receive an email containing a unique activation link.
A minimum of five team members is required to be eligible for Group Membership benefits.
While 25 represents a standard group size for Group Membership, larger groups can be accommodated.
For groups exceeding 25 users, a customized link will be provided upon request. Please contact plus@techcrunch.com, specifying your desired group size, to receive this link.
Currently, all payments are processed via credit card. However, invoicing may be considered for larger organizations.
Groups consisting of over 100 users may be eligible for invoicing options. Invoicing is not available for smaller groups. Further details can be obtained by contacting plus@techcrunch.com.
