quibi says it will shut down in early december

The streaming service Quibi is ceasing operations – that is confirmed.

However, the specific date of its closure remains a question. For those hoping to watch all 25 episodes of the Reno 911 reboot before the service is discontinued, what is the timeframe?

Although Quibi itself doesn't have a definitive answer at this moment, the company has recently provided users with an estimated shutdown date: early December.

According to a recent report from Variety, a new support document on Quibi’s website indicates that streaming will conclude “on or around December 1, 2020.” The use of “around” implies the exact date is still subject to change, but it is expected to be near that time.

The future of Quibi’s programming – whether shows will be acquired by platforms like Netflix or Hulu – is also currently uncertain. The company states, “We currently do not have information regarding the availability of Quibi content following our final day of service,” in the same support document.
