ManoMano continues to see accelerating sales figures. The company reported a 50% increase in gross merchandise volume in 2019 when compared to the previous year, 2018.
Key performance indicators also demonstrate substantial growth. The platform now welcomes 50 million unique visitors each month, marking a 70% increase year-over-year.
Furthermore, the number of active clients has reached 7 million, representing a 100% increase in user base.
Geographic Presence and Future Plans
Currently, ManoMano’s operations extend beyond France to include Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Belgium.
Looking ahead to 2021, the company intends to focus heavily on expansion within Northern Europe, specifically Germany and the U.K. Improvements to the user experience for both merchants and customers are also prioritized.
Market Performance and Profitability
France remains the dominant market for ManoMano, accounting for 60% of the company’s total sales volume.
Notably, the company achieves profitability within the French market when considered as a standalone segment.
Services and Expansion into New Segments
Beyond operating a marketplace, ManoMano provides fulfillment services designed for third-party retailers.
The company is also experiencing growth within the professional sector through its dedicated ManoManoPro division.
Funding and Team Growth
ManoMano secured $125 million in funding during 2019, followed by an additional $139 million in 2020.
The company remains actively engaged in recruitment and team expansion. Currently employing 650 individuals, ManoMano anticipates reaching a workforce of 1,000 by the end of 2021.
