Meet the Investors
Clara Brenner is a seasoned entrepreneur and co-founder. As the co-founder and managing partner of Urban Innovation Fund, she directs seed capital and provides regulatory guidance to companies addressing urban challenges.
Urban Innovation Fund’s portfolio includes investments in companies like curbflow, Electriphi, and Kyte. Brenner also established Tumml, a startup hub that supported 38 urban tech companies through funding, mentorship, and networking events.
In 2014, Forbes recognized her as a member of its “30 Under 30” list for Social Entrepreneurship.
Quin Garcia, with a lifelong passion for automobiles and a Master of Science degree in management science and automotive engineering from Stanford University, serves as managing director at Autotech Ventures.
He also holds positions as a board director, board observer, and advisory board member for several mobility companies, including Lyft, Peloton Technology, and Connected Signals.
Garcia was an early team member at Better Place, an electric vehicle infrastructure startup, where he focused on forging partnerships with automakers and component suppliers while based in Israel, Japan, and China.
Rachel Holt is the co-founder and managing partner of Construct Capital, an early-stage venture firm that invests in companies transforming foundational industries like manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and transportation.
Construct Capital’s transportation investments include ChargeLab, and Holt also serves on the board of MotoRefi.
Prior to Construct Capital, Holt was a key figure at Uber, joining as one of the company’s first 30 employees.
During her 8.5 years at Uber, she held various leadership roles, including overseeing the U.S. and Canada “Rides” business, as well as global marketing and customer support. She was a consistent member of Uber’s executive leadership team.
Her final role at Uber involved leading the company’s new mobility division, which encompassed its e-bike and scooter businesses, and managing its incubator for new product and service development.
Holt’s career began at Bain & Company, where she provided consulting services to companies in private equity, financial services, and healthcare.
She was recognized by Fortune as one of its “40 Under 40” and by Fast Company as one of the “Most Creative People in Business.”
