Infiniti CarPlay Upgrade: Free for 2020 & 2021 Models

Apple CarPlay Expansion to Infiniti Vehicles
Since its initial introduction in the 2014 Ferrari FF, Apple CarPlay has become a widely adopted feature. It is now being extended to vehicles from the Infiniti brand.
Earlier this year, the Japanese automotive manufacturer, Infiniti, declared that the 2022 QX80, Q50, Q60, and QX60 SUV models would be the first to integrate the popular content streaming and navigation system.
Availability for Existing Infiniti Owners
However, consideration was also given to customers who had already purchased 2021 or 2022 models. These owners are also eligible to receive the upgrade.
Infiniti revealed on Thursday a complimentary Apple CarPlay upgrade for owners of the 2020, 2021 QX80, Q50, Q60, and QX60 SUVs.
To receive the update, Infiniti owners simply need to visit an authorized dealership. Technicians will then perform the software installation and updates, a process that takes approximately one hour.
It’s important to note that this upgrade service has a limited availability window, concluding on March 31, 2022. Owners are encouraged to schedule their appointments promptly.
