Creating a Windows Repair Disc

Typically, users receive a manufacturer-supplied disc that performs a complete factory reset. But what if you need to utilize Startup Repair without the loss of personalized settings?

Microsoft intends to enable the creation of custom Windows 7 or Vista repair discs with the release of Service Pack 1, anticipated within a month. However, for those seeking an immediate solution, Neosmart has developed a Windows 7 or Vista Repair Disc available for download. Please note that these discs are no longer offered free of charge.
The downloadable file is provided as an ISO image. If you possess familiarity with ISO files, you may proceed directly to the download link. Otherwise, instructions for creating a CD from the ISO file are also included.
Burning the Recovery Disc ISO to CD
While you might already have software capable of burning ISO images, ImgBurn stands out as the optimal tool. This freeware application specializes solely in burning ISO images, performing this task with exceptional efficiency.
Launch ImgBurn and select the downloaded file from Neosmart by clicking the "Browse for a file" button.
Insert a blank CD into your computer's drive, then initiate the burning process by clicking the prominent Write button.

The process is now complete; you have successfully created your own Vista Recovery CD.
