Force Quit App Apple Watch: A Simple Guide

Force Quitting Apps on Your Apple Watch
Should an application on your Apple Watch become unresponsive, or if you simply desire to completely close an app, a method exists to compel its termination without necessitating a full system reboot. The process involved is straightforward.
How to Initiate the Force Quit
When within the application you wish to close, a prolonged press of the side button is required.
This action will bring up the screen for powering off your watch. Press and hold the side button a second time.
You will momentarily return to the application, before being directed back to the watch’s Home screen. The app has now been successfully closed.
Understanding Glance Behavior
Important Note: While this method terminates the app’s active process, any associated screen present within the Glances feature may continue to operate.
To fully halt an app’s activity within Glances, it must be removed from that specific view.
Rebooting Your Apple Watch
If force quitting the application does not resolve the issue, a complete reboot of your Apple Watch is an alternative solution.
Initiate this process by pressing and holding the side button until the power off screen appears. Then, slide the “Power Off” slider to the right.
Allow a few moments to pass, and subsequently press and hold the side button once more. Hold it until the Apple logo becomes visible, signifying the watch is powering on again.
