Following the selection of your desired Windows 7 edition, RT Se7en Lite will initiate the image loading process. If your Windows 7 disc lacks Service Pack 1, activate the "Slipstream Service Pack" option within the “Select an image to configure” window to integrate it.
Transition to the Task pane to choose the modifications you wish to implement. You can either individually select checkboxes or apply a pre-configured preset. Each selected checkbox will activate its corresponding configuration panel on the left side of the interface.
The integration pane facilitates the inclusion of Windows updates, drivers, language packs, and even third-party applications into your installation media. To incorporate updates, download the necessary installer files and load them into RT Se7en Lite using the Add button.
Within the Features Removal or Components tab, you have the capability to permanently eliminate components from your Windows installation and define which Windows features are installed by default. For instance, you can exclude pre-installed games or ensure the IIS web server is installed automatically.
The Tweaks tab empowers you to modify the default settings for various Windows components, including the Control Panel, Desktop, and Explorer. Furthermore, you can introduce custom registry settings to adjust settings not directly available within the interface.
The Unattended section enables the creation of an unattended installation disc. By pre-defining responses to installation prompts, Windows will install without requiring user interaction during the process.
For example, you can input your product key beforehand, eliminating the need to enter it during setup. Additional tabs allow control over other settings, such as hard drive selection. Completing these settings allows for a fully automated Windows installation.
The Customization pane allows the addition of personalized elements to your Windows 7 disc, including screensavers, wallpapers, themes, documents, and even custom logon screens.
Within the ISO Bootable pane, you can generate an ISO image from your customized installation disc. This image can then be burned to a DVD or copied to a bootable USB drive.
