Clearing the Search History: A Step-by-Step Guide
Begin by tapping the Google Play Store icon located on your device’s home screen.
Once the “Play Store” application launches, select the menu icon – represented by three horizontal lines – situated in the top-left corner of the display.
From the drop-down menu that appears, choose the “Settings” option.
Within the “Settings” menu, tap on “Clear local search history.”
Notably, no confirmation message or notification will appear to indicate that the search history has been successfully cleared. Verification can be achieved by returning to the main Play Store screen using your device’s “Back” button and then activating the search box at the top.
If the process was completed correctly, you should observe that no previous searches are displayed beneath the search box.
