Google has announced the launch of Pixel Care+, a new program designed to offer enhanced protection for its devices. This rollout, revealed on Wednesday, signifies a consolidation of existing services.
Replacing Existing Protection Programs
Pixel Care+ will supersede both Google Preferred Care and Fi Device Protection within the United States. Existing subscribers to these programs will be automatically migrated to the new offering over the next few months.

According to a recent Google blog post, Pixel Care+ aims to deliver a superior level of coverage, service quality, and overall peace of mind to owners of Google hardware.
The program features unlimited claims for accidental damage, as well as coverage for mechanical failures and extended warranty issues.

Furthermore, Pixel Care+ subscribers will benefit from complimentary expedited shipping on replacement devices, including next-day delivery options.
Pricing Details
Google provides a detailed pricing structure on its website, varying based on the specific device. As an example, Pixel Care+ for a Pixel 10 is priced at $10 monthly or $199 for a two-year subscription.
Device Eligibility and Availability
Pixel Care+ is currently available in the U.S., starting Wednesday, for qualifying new devices. These include the Pixel 8 series and newer, the Pixel Watch 2 series and newer, the Pixel Tablet, and a range of Fitbit devices.
Eligible Fitbit models include the Ace LTE, Versa 4, Sense 2, Charge 6, and Inspire 3.
Claim Process and Enrollment
The program can be added to a device purchase within 60 days of the original transaction. Users can initiate a claim directly through the Google Store, selecting a preferred repair location and time slot.
Alternatively, claims can be filed conveniently through the My Pixel App.
