Fiverr Launches Personalized Discovery Feature - Like Pinterest

Fiverr Launches “Inspire” – A New Visual Discovery Feature
Fiverr, the popular freelance marketplace, is introducing an interactive mobile experience reminiscent of Pinterest. This new feature, named “Inspire,” provides users with a continuously refreshed feed of visual content tailored to their individual preferences.
The company states that “Inspire” is specifically intended to spark new project ideas and facilitate the discovery of freelancers available on the platform.
How the “Inspire” Feature Works
Users can engage with the content presented in their feed by “liking” posts. They also have the option to save content to personalized mood boards or lists for future reference.
This feature aims to broaden user awareness of the diverse services and skills available, potentially benefiting their business or project requirements.
Content displayed within the feed is dynamically curated based on a user’s recent searches and past purchases. This ensures a highly relevant and personalized experience.
Furthermore, the endless exploration format exposes users to content that complements their previous browsing activity.
Fiverr’s Vision for “Inspire”
“We are excited to see what kind of inspiration and ideas come from this new experience and to continue commemorating and recognizing the hard work of talented freelancers everywhere,” commented Liron Markus, Vice President of Product at Fiverr.
Recent Acquisitions and Growth
This launch follows Fiverr’s recent strategic acquisitions, demonstrating its commitment to expanding its capabilities.
In a recent move, Fiverr acquired Stoke Talent for $95 million. Stoke Talent provides tools for companies to effectively manage their freelance teams.
These tools include features for freelancer onboarding, payment processing, and budget tracking.
Additionally, in October, Fiverr acquired CreativeLive, an online learning platform, for an undisclosed sum.
CreativeLive offers courses in areas such as video production, photography, design, business, and marketing.
Company Overview
Founded in 2010 in Tel Aviv, Fiverr is now headquartered in New York.
The company is publicly traded on the NYSE and currently holds a valuation of $6.3 billion.
During its latest fiscal year, Fiverr reported that over four million customers utilized services from freelancers on its platform, representing more than 160 countries.
The marketplace encompasses over 500 categories and nine distinct verticals, including graphic design, digital marketing, programming, video and animation.
