Enable Additional Clocks in Windows 7 & Vista - How To

Displaying Multiple Clocks in Windows

Both Windows 7 and Windows Vista feature a useful system clock enhancement. This allows users to view up to two extra clocks simply by hovering the mouse cursor over the system clock.

The following illustrates the appearance of a London clock within the Vista operating system:

Here is how the hover clock appears in Windows 7.

Adding Additional Clocks

The process of adding these supplementary clocks is remarkably straightforward. Begin by right-clicking directly on the clock located in the system tray. From the context menu, select "Adjust Date/Time".

Navigate to the "Additional Clocks" tab. Then, configure the desired options and corresponding time zone as depicted.

A custom display name can be entered for each clock. For instance, "London" was used, but you can substitute it with a name relevant to your needs, such as a relative’s location.
