Elvie Introduces the Rise: A Smart Bouncer Transforming into a Bassinet

Elvie, a hardware startup established by women, has recently introduced a novel, app-controlled smart bouncer. This innovative device seamlessly transitions into a bassinet while the infant remains comfortably positioned within it.

Announced at CES 2025 on Monday, the Elvie Rise aims to eliminate the need for parents and caregivers to transfer their baby between different products designed for soothing, sleep, and play.

Expanding into the Sleep Category

The company has gained recognition for its range of women’s health products. These include a connected breast pump and a smart pelvic floor exerciser. Now, Elvie is extending its expertise into the sleep solutions market with this latest offering.

The device operates in bouncer mode utilizing Elvie’s SootheLoop technology. This feature records and replicates the initial bouncing motion established by a parent or caregiver.

Manual bouncing is also an option, providing parents with control and flexibility. When converted to bassinet mode, the smart bouncer adheres to the safe sleep recommendations outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

App Control and Sleep Insights

The accompanying Elvie Rise Sleep & Soothe app allows parents and caregivers to manage the automated bouncing functions.

Furthermore, the app delivers valuable data and insights regarding the baby’s sleep patterns, aiding in understanding and optimizing rest.

Safety and Design Features

Elvie Rise incorporates a firm, flat mattress and utilizes breathable materials in its construction.

Cordless operation is enabled through a magnetic contact charger. The product is designed to meet both U.S. safety standards for bassinets and bouncers.
