Disable Delete Confirmation Dialog - Windows 7 & Vista

Disabling File Deletion Confirmation in Windows
When a file is deleted in Windows, a confirmation prompt typically appears, asking "Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?". This feature serves as a safeguard against accidental deletions.
However, when performing extensive file cleanup, this repeated confirmation can become cumbersome. Fortunately, it’s possible to disable this prompt.
It is generally advisable to keep the confirmation dialog enabled for most situations, but the option to disable it is readily available.
How to Disable the Confirmation Dialog
To disable the confirmation prompt, begin by right-clicking on the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop.
From the context menu that appears, select Properties.
This will open the Recycle Bin Properties dialog box.
Within the dialog, locate the option labeled "Display delete confirmation dialog" at the bottom of the window.
Simply uncheck this box to disable the confirmation prompt.
After unchecking the box, close the Recycle Bin Properties dialog.
The confirmation dialog will no longer appear when deleting files. Remember to re-enable this feature once your cleanup is complete to prevent unintended data loss.
