Dixa Raises $105M Series C Funding - Customer Engagement Platform

Dixa Secures $105 Million in Series C Funding

Dixa, a leading European customer engagement platform, has successfully completed a Series C funding round, securing $105 million in investment. The round was spearheaded by General Atlantic, a prominent growth equity firm.

Existing investors, including Notion Capital, Project A, and Seed Capital, also contributed to this latest funding initiative.

Previous Funding and Acquisition

This investment follows a $36 million Series B funding round raised in February of the previous year. That round was also led by Notion Capital, with continued support from Project A and Seed Capital.

Dixa has already demonstrated its growth strategy through acquisition, having purchased Elevio, a company based in Melbourne, in January 2021.

Plans for the New Capital

The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards both ongoing product development and strategic acquisitions. Dixa intends to utilize this capital to expand its suite of offerings.

Dixa's Core Functionality

Established in Denmark in 2015 and officially launched in 2018, Dixa provides brands with the tools to maintain consistent customer connections.

This is achieved through a variety of communication channels, including messaging, live chat, email, and voice.

Executive Perspectives

Mads Fosselius, founder and CEO of Dixa, stated: “Customers today are less concerned with the specific channel they use. Their engagement is now a blended ‘multiexperience.’ We are focused on enabling brands to consistently uphold their core values.”

Tom Hussey, Vice President in General Atlantic’s Technology sector, specializing in B2B software, commented: “The customer service software landscape is evolving. It’s shifting from fragmented, transactional interactions to ongoing, conversational engagement.

Dixa has been instrumental in defining and championing this multiexperience approach.”
