Clubhouse Launches High-Quality Audio Mode for Musicians

Clubhouse Enhances Audio Capabilities with New Music Mode
This week saw Clubhouse introduce a dedicated “music mode,” reinforcing the platform’s focus on social audio experiences.
The newly implemented music mode provides musicians performing live on the network with specialized tools designed to enhance audio fidelity.
Optimized Sound Quality for Musicians
Initially launching on iOS, with an Android release planned subsequently, the music mode aims to deliver superior sound quality.
Clubhouse stated that the feature will enable users to “broadcast with high quality and great stereo sound,” essential components for an immersive listening experience.
Furthermore, the mode will facilitate the connection of professional audio equipment, such as mixing consoles and microphones, directly to Clubhouse.
Expanding Audio Features
In late August, Clubhouse previously invested in audio enhancements with the introduction of spatial audio.
This feature creates a more realistic listening environment by simulating the physical positioning of speakers within a group audio room.
Accessing and Utilizing Music Mode
To activate music mode while speaking, users should tap the three dots located in the upper right corner of the screen.
From the resulting menu, select “audio quality” and then choose “music.”
Clubhouse’s replayable clips will also benefit from the improved audio quality, incorporating it into their recordings.
Additional Platform Updates
Beyond music mode, Clubhouse is also refining the user interface.
The search bar is being relocated to the top of the feed for improved accessibility.
Users on iOS can now also utilize a “wave” gesture through the search bar.
