Calling VCs in Israel: TechCrunch European VC Survey

TechCrunch is launching a comprehensive new initiative to gather insights from venture capital firms and investors across Europe, focusing on their respective cities.

Our survey targeting VCs in Israel aims to assess the current state of the nation’s investment landscape and understand the shifts occurring among investors due to the coronavirus pandemic. Given the strong connections between the Israeli and European VC communities – with frequent co-investment activity – we have included Israeli investors in this study.

We are interested in learning about the development of Israel’s startup environment, the effects of COVID-19 on the technology industry, and your evolving perspectives moving forward.

This survey is specifically designed for investors, and only responses from VC investors will be considered. Multiple partners from a single firm are encouraged to participate. (Please disregard this invitation if you have already completed the survey.)

The questionnaire consists of concise questions, though more detailed responses are welcome and appreciated.

What information are we seeking? Questions cover topics such as: Which emerging trends are generating the most enthusiasm? What innovative startup concept would you like to see realized? Where do you identify untapped potential? What key characteristics are you prioritizing in your next investment? How is your regional ecosystem performing? And how has COVID-19 influenced your investment approach?

This survey is part of a larger series intended to assist entrepreneurs in identifying suitable investors.

Are you based outside of Israel but still wish to contribute? Absolutely! Any European VC investor is welcome to complete the survey, as we anticipate extending the invitation to investors in your country in the near future. The collected data will also inform future surveys focused on specific industry sectors.

The survey encompasses nearly all countries within the Union for the Mediterranean region, so please locate your country and city within the survey and participate (if you are a venture capital investor).
