calling brussels vcs: be featured in the great techcrunch survey of european vc

TechCrunch is initiating a comprehensive new undertaking to gather insights from venture capital firms and investors across Europe, focusing on their respective cities.

Our survey targeting VCs in Brussels aims to assess the current state of the city’s investment landscape and understand the shifts occurring among investors as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. (Please disregard this invitation if you have already completed the survey).

We are interested in learning about the development of Brussels’ startup community, the effects of COVID-19 on the technology industry, and how your perspectives are likely to change moving forward.

This survey is specifically designed for investors, and only responses from VC investors will be considered. Multiple partners from a single firm are encouraged to participate.

The questionnaire consists of concise questions, though more detailed responses are welcome and appreciated.

The survey can be accessed here.

Contributors will be highlighted in the published survey results, with references to their firms and professional profiles.

What information are we seeking? Questions cover topics such as: Which emerging trends are generating the most enthusiasm? What innovative startup concept remains unfulfilled? Where are the currently undervalued opportunities? What criteria are you prioritizing in upcoming investments? How is your regional business environment performing? And in what ways has COVID-19 altered your investment approach?

This survey is part of a larger series intended to assist entrepreneurs in identifying suitable investors.

As an illustration, here is our recent survey of the London investment scene.

Are you not located in Brussels but still wish to contribute? Or are you based elsewhere in the country? That’s perfectly acceptable! Any European VC investor is welcome to complete the survey, as we anticipate extending the invitation to other cities soon. The collected data will also inform future surveys focused on specific industry sectors.

The survey encompasses nearly all countries within Europe (including those outside the EU), so please locate your country and city within the survey and participate (if you are a venture capital investor).

We appreciate your time and input. For any inquiries, please contact mike@techcrunch.com
