calling athens vcs: be featured in the great techcrunch survey of european vc

TechCrunch is initiating a comprehensive project to gather insights from venture capital firms and investors across Europe, focusing on their respective cities.

Our survey targeting VCs in Athens, Greece, aims to assess the current state of the nation’s economy and understand the shifts occurring within the investment landscape as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

We are interested in learning about the development of Greece’s startup community, the effects of COVID-19 on the technology industry, and how investor perspectives are changing moving forward.

This survey is specifically designed for investors, and only responses from VC investors will be considered. Multiple partners from a single firm are encouraged to participate. (Please disregard this invitation if you have already completed the survey).

The questionnaire consists of concise questions, though more detailed responses are welcome and appreciated.

You can access the survey at this link.

Contributors will be highlighted in the published survey results, with references to their firms and professional profiles.

What information are we seeking? Questions cover topics such as: Which emerging trends are generating the most enthusiasm? What innovative startup concept is currently missing from the market? Where are the untapped potential areas for investment? What key characteristics are you prioritizing in future investments? How is the investment climate in your region performing? And how has COVID-19 altered your investment approach?

This survey is part of a larger initiative intended to connect founders with suitable investors.

As an example, you can review our recent survey of investors in London.

Are you located outside of Greece but still wish to contribute? Absolutely! All European VC investors are welcome to complete the survey, as we anticipate extending the invitation to other countries soon. The collected data will also be utilized for future surveys focused on specific industry sectors.

The survey encompasses nearly all countries within the Union for the Mediterranean region, so please locate your country and city within the survey and participate (if you are a venture capital investor).

We appreciate your time and input. For any inquiries, please contact mike@techcrunch.com

(Please be aware that completing the survey does not guarantee inclusion in the final published report).
