Apple Watch Series 7 Release Date & Price - Starting at $399

Apple Watch Series 7: Pre-order and Availability Details
The unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 7 occurred during Apple’s September 14th hardware presentation, initially indicating a release timeframe sometime in the fall. Now, the company has officially announced that pre-orders for this highly anticipated wearable will commence this Friday, October 8th.
In-store availability is scheduled to begin a week following the pre-order date, on October 15th. This launch will cater to customers located in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Key Features and Improvements
A significant enhancement in the Series 7 is its display, which is 20% larger than the previous generation. This expanded screen real estate allows for the display of 50% more text.
The display also boasts increased brightness and is now protected by a more durable crystal. Furthermore, the watch has achieved an IP6X rating for dust resistance, complementing its existing WR50 water resistance rating for swimming.
Despite circulating rumors, the battery life remains consistent with the prior model, offering up to 18 hours of use. However, charging speeds have been improved, now being 33% faster.
Color Options and Pricing
The Apple Watch Series 7 is offered with a selection of five aluminum case finishes: black, silver, blue, green, and (Product) Red.
Customers can also choose from three stainless steel colors – silver, graphite, and gold – as well as two titanium options.
Pricing for the Series 7 begins at $399. The Apple Watch SE remains available for $279, and the older Series 3 is still offered, starting at $199.
Market Position and Competition
