Apple Updates Entry-Level iPad - $329

Apple Announces Updated Entry-Level iPad
Apple has announced the release of a new iPad model. This iteration represents the most budget-friendly option within Apple’s tablet range, positioned below both the iPad Air and iPad Pro in terms of price.
A13 Chip and Familiar Design
The new iPad is powered by Apple’s A13 chip, initially featured in the iPhone 11. This represents an upgrade from the A12 Bionic found in the previous generation model.
Maintaining a consistent aesthetic, Apple has retained the established design, including the 10.2-inch display.
Enhanced Camera Capabilities
Improvements have been made to the camera system, notably in auto focus and low-light performance.
A significant upgrade is present in the front-facing camera, now boasting a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 122° field of view.
Introducing Center Stage
The Center Stage feature is now available on the entry-level iPad. This intelligent function dynamically adjusts the video frame during calls, focusing on the active participants.
This enhancement is designed to improve the experience of video conferencing, particularly for families.
True Tone Display and Apple Pencil Support
For the first time, the standard iPad incorporates True Tone technology. This feature adjusts the display’s white balance to match ambient lighting conditions.
Compatibility with the first-generation Apple Pencil remains, utilizing its Lightning connector for connection.
Availability and Pricing
The updated iPad will be available starting next week, with a price of $329 for the 64GB configuration – an increase from the previous generation’s 32GB storage.
Models with cellular connectivity will also be offered, and educational institutions can purchase the iPad for $299.
The device will be available in silver and Space Gray finishes.
