AppleCare+ One: $19.99/Month for 3 Devices - Apple

Apple Introduces AppleCare One Subscription
On Wednesday, Apple unveiled AppleCare One, a new subscription service priced at $19.99 per month. This plan provides coverage for as many as three Apple devices.
Additional devices can be incorporated into the plan for an extra $5.99 monthly fee per device.
Streamlined Coverage for Multiple Devices
Previously, Apple users seeking extended protection for their devices needed to enroll in individual AppleCare+ plans. Now, a consolidated coverage option is being offered.
AppleCare One encompasses all the advantages of AppleCare+, including unlimited repairs for accidental damage such as drops and liquid spills, round-the-clock support from Apple specialists, and battery coverage.
Expanded Protection with Theft and Loss
A key enhancement with AppleCare One is the inclusion of theft and loss protection. This extends beyond iPhones to now cover both iPads and Apple Watches.
For the first time, Apple is enabling customers to add AppleCare coverage to devices they already own.
Eligibility and Device Condition
The new subscription allows customers to add eligible products up to four years old, provided they are in good working order.
To confirm a device’s condition, a diagnostic assessment may be necessary, utilizing the customer’s iPhone or iPad, or performed at an Apple Store.
Cost Savings with Bundled Plans
According to Apple, the pricing for AppleCare One remains consistent regardless of the specific products covered.
This means a customer can enroll an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, potentially saving up to $11 each month compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans.
For example, someone purchasing a new MacBook Pro and adding their iPhone to the plan will realize savings by avoiding two distinct AppleCare+ subscriptions.
Further value is achieved by including an additional device, such as an Apple Watch.
Account Restrictions and Existing Options
Apple specifies that only devices linked to the customer’s Apple Account are eligible for coverage under AppleCare One.
Customers who prefer protection for a single device can continue to subscribe to AppleCare+.
The newly introduced Theft and Loss coverage for Apple Watch and iPad will also be available as part of AppleCare+ for those wishing to cover individual devices.
Availability
AppleCare One became available in the United States starting Thursday.
Customers can enroll directly through their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting a physical Apple Store.
