The newly launched umbrella is an extension of Anker’s SOLIX series. This lineup focuses on energy-efficient solutions, including portable power stations and solar generators.

These products are designed to provide power for household appliances during power outages and emergency situations.

Advanced Solar Cell Technology

While numerous solar beach umbrellas currently exist, Anker’s offering differentiates itself through the utilization of perovskite solar cells.

The company claims these cells demonstrate a 30% performance advantage over conventional crystalline silicon solar cells in strong sunlight.

Furthermore, they exhibit double the efficiency in conditions with reduced light levels.

Like all solar-powered devices, this umbrella contributes to a reduction in pollution and a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.

Alongside the solar umbrella, Anker revealed several other new products at CES 2025.

• The second generation of its EverFrost electric cooler was announced.
• A karaoke speaker equipped with an AI-powered voice-removal feature was also showcased.

Anker anticipates that consumers will perceive the umbrella as a useful companion to the EverFrost cooler.

It can be directly connected to the cooler to supply it with power, or it can be used with a separate base.

Power Specifications

The umbrella delivers 80 watts of power to portable devices via a USB-C connection.

It also supports powering the EverFrost 2 or other compatible devices through an XT-60 connector, facilitating power transfer from a battery to electronic components.

Availability and Pricing

The pricing for the solar umbrella has not yet been disclosed by Anker.

However, it is anticipated to become available for purchase during the spring or summer months.
