Amazon Echo Show 15 Release Date & Details

Amazon Echo Show 15: Pre-sales Begin
Following its initial announcement in late September, Amazon has confirmed an end-of-year launch for the Echo Show 15. The company is on track to meet this timeframe, with a release coinciding with the holiday season.
Pre-sales for the device commence today, and shipments are scheduled to begin on December 9th.
A Distinctive Smart Display
This new product sets itself apart from other smart displays through its substantial size. It’s notably larger than competing devices, almost to an exaggerated degree.
The Echo Show 15 incorporates a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, specifically engineered for wall mounting, functioning similarly to a sizable digital photo frame.
Key Features and Functionality
Priced at $250, the device includes Visual ID, a facial recognition technology – also debuting on the Astro robot – which personalizes the user experience by recognizing individuals.
The expansive screen allows for the simultaneous display of numerous elements, such as feeds from smart home devices like security cameras and doorbells.
Furthermore, it supports various widgets, providing access to calendar appointments, task lists, and other essential information.
Entertainment and Accessories
The system can also function as a large-screen television, supporting streaming services including Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, and Sling TV.
Optional accessories, including countertop stands and cabinet mounts, are available for purchase separately.
These mounts offer alternative placement options beyond wall mounting.
