Besties All-In Tequila Shipping After 5 Month Delay

All-In Tequila Shipments Finally Underway After Delays
The highly anticipated tequila from the All-In podcast hosts experienced a delayed rollout following its initial launch. Despite a sell-out of all 750 bottles, priced at $1,200 each, at a celebrity-filled event last June, fulfilling orders proved challenging.
Production Bottlenecks Caused the Wait
Shipments of Besties All-In tequila commenced last week, resolving a nearly five-month delay for pre-order customers, as confirmed by podcast host Jason Calacanis to TechCrunch. The primary cause of the postponement centered around the unique bottle design.
Calacanis explained that the handcrafted bottles required more time to produce than initially estimated. These bottles were intentionally created as collectible items, resembling an illuminated stack of poker chips – a nod to the hosts’ shared enthusiasm for both tequila and poker.
Initial Delivery Estimates Missed
Customers were originally informed that deliveries would occur by the end of summer. However, this timeframe passed without fulfillment. Purchasers had already invested $1,200 per bottle, in addition to applicable taxes and fees.
A TechCrunch reader reported multiple delivery postponements. The expected arrival date was successively moved to October, then November, and ultimately, beyond November, as indicated in correspondence from distributor Flaviar.
Communication of Delays
The product’s website and Flaviar’s updates mirrored the evolving delivery schedule. The initial promise of end-of-summer delivery on the website was updated to indicate shipments would “begin in November.” Flaviar’s communications also specified that deliveries would be processed in stages.
Shipments Have Begun
Although a complete fulfillment timeline remains uncertain, shipments are now actively being dispatched. It is hoped that enthusiasts of the All-In podcast hosts – often referred to as VCs and “pod bros” – will be able to enjoy the premium tequila during the approaching holiday season.
As of now, Flaviar has not provided a response to requests for further commentary.
