Understanding your typical hangouts can be insightful. For users of Foursquare, a visual representation is readily available through Where Do You Go. This innovative Google Maps integration generates a heat map illustrating all of your Foursquare check-ins.

How It Works

The application allows you to easily pinpoint frequently visited locations based on the number of Foursquare check-ins made at each place.

To begin, navigate to the Where Do You Go homepage and sign in using your Google account. Authorization for access to your Foursquare account is then required, enabling the retrieval of your check-in history.

Following authorization, a heat map is displayed, built upon Google Maps, visually representing your past locations.

Interpreting the Heat Map

The intensity of colors on the map directly correlates with the frequency of your Foursquare check-ins at a given location. More vibrant colors indicate a higher number of check-ins.

The map dynamically updates with each new Foursquare check-in you make. However, for privacy, only check-ins older than 24 hours are displayed.

You also have the option to capture a snapshot of your personalized heat map and share it with your network.
