TechCrunch Disrupt 2021: Elevating the Startup Alley Experience
This year, the exhibiting experience within Startup Alley, renowned as a central hub for opportunity at TechCrunch Disrupt, is being significantly enhanced for the 2021 event (September 21-23). The TechCrunch team will be selecting up to 50 exhibiting founders to participate in Startup Alley+, an exclusive, VIP program designed to accelerate business growth and broaden opportunities. Interested parties are encouraged to secure a Startup Alley Pass while supplies last.
Startup Alley+ Details
Important Note: Participation in the Startup Alley+ experience incurs no additional cost beyond the standard fee for exhibiting in Startup Alley. Founders will be informed of their acceptance into Startup Alley+ within one week of application review.
A key benefit of being selected for the Startup Alley+ program is facilitated access and introductions to prominent investors – a highly valued connection for every startup founder. A substantial number of VCs will be available prior to Disrupt, and founders will be strategically matched with investors whose investment philosophies align with their ventures.
Meetings with your designated VC will be conducted through CrunchMatch, our dedicated investor-founder platform. Furthermore, you’ll gain access to a comprehensive list of all investors attending Disrupt, enabling you to connect with additional potential funders both before and during the conference via CrunchMatch.
Additional Program Components
The Startup Alley+ experience commences on July 8-9 with a complimentary founder pass to TechCrunch Early Stage: Marketing & Fundraising. This event features a detailed agenda filled with presentations and interactive breakout sessions, culminating in a pitch competition on the second day.
Leading up to Disrupt, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in specialized masterclasses led by industry experts.
- Core Principles of the Lean Startup Methodology presented by John Lynn, founder of CELA Innovation.
- Achieving Product/Market Fit led by Dan Olsen, author of “The Lean Product Playbook”.
- Effective Outreach to VCs and Media with Annie Kadavy of Redpoint Ventures and TechCrunch editor Danny Crichton.
Prepare to refine your pitch through participation in a mini pitch competition during one of five Extra Crunch Live feedback sessions.
- Session 1: July 21
- Session 2: August 4
- Session 3: August 18
- Session 4: September 1
- Session 5: September 8
