Unbounce Acquires Snazzy.ai: AI Copywriting Now Available

Unbounce Acquires Snazzy.ai to Enhance Conversion Capabilities
Unbounce, a Vancouver-based company specializing in automated landing page creation, has announced its acquisition of Snazzy.ai, a startup focused on automated copywriting. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed by either company.
Leveraging AI for Conversion Intelligence
According to Unbounce’s Chief Strategy Officer, Tamara Grominsky, the acquisition is strategically aligned with the company’s focus on maximizing customer conversion rates. Integrating Snazzy.ai’s technology, built on GPT-3 artificial intelligence, will be instrumental in achieving this goal.
“Our current efforts center on developing conversion intelligence software,” Grominsky stated. “This will empower marketers to collaborate with AI and fully realize their potential for improved conversions. We identified a significant opportunity with Snazzy to specifically address content and copy creation, thereby accelerating our overall strategy.”
Targeting the Marketing Generalist
Grominsky emphasized that Snazzy.ai’s product is designed for marketing professionals who handle a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including landing page management and copywriting.
“The typical Unbounce user isn’t a dedicated copywriter,” she explained. “They often juggle numerous marketing tasks and don’t dedicate their entire workday to writing copy. They are marketing generalists with diverse responsibilities.”
Simplifying the Content Creation Process
Chris Frantz, co-founder of Snazzy.ai, highlighted the tool’s ability to overcome the initial hurdle of content creation. It aims to eliminate writer’s block and provide a starting point for copy.
“Traditionally, the most challenging aspect has been crafting that initial sentence or paragraph,” Frantz noted. “Our technology removes that barrier entirely. While the initial output may not always be perfect, users can easily generate alternative versions with a single click.”
Strategic Growth Through Acquisition
Frantz explained that, given the competitive landscape, joining a larger platform like Unbounce offered a faster path to market growth. He believed it would accelerate adoption and broaden their reach.
“Tamara’s vision for Unbounce’s future is truly inspiring and ambitious,” Frantz said. “She quickly convinced me of this during our discussions. Furthermore, the intense competition in this space made the differentiator of partnering with a trusted marketing platform, possessing a decade of experience, incredibly valuable.”
Expanding Copywriting Capabilities
The Snazzy.ai tool supports the creation of various types of copy, including content for landing pages and Google Ads. Launched in alpha last October, the platform already boasts 30,000 users, a customer base Unbounce intends to integrate into its own ecosystem.
Unbounce plans to maintain Snazzy.ai as a standalone product while simultaneously exploring ways to integrate its technology into the broader platform over the next year.
