The Browser Company has unveiled a Pro subscription service for Dia, its innovative web browser distinguished by its extensive AI integration. This new plan is priced at $20 per month and grants subscribers unrestricted access to Dia’s AI-driven chat functionalities and skills.

Usage Limits for Free Users

With the introduction of this paid option, users who utilize the free version of Dia will encounter limitations on their access to AI features. Specific usage caps haven't been publicly detailed. However, CEO Josh Miller previously communicated to The New York Times that the browser will remain accessible for free to those who employ AI features a limited number of times each week.

It was also suggested that the company intends to introduce a variety of subscription levels. These tiers are anticipated to range in price from $5 monthly to several hundred dollars, depending on the features included.

Initially, the Pro plan was briefly made available online, as observed by users on platforms like Reddit and Threads. The page was subsequently taken down by The Browser Company. The subscription option has now been reinstated and is accessible via the settings menu within Dia.

The Browser Company, the creator of the Arc browser, has secured $128 million in funding from investors. Notable backers include Pace Capital, Next Play Ventures, and prominent figures in the tech industry such as Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Ev Williams (Medium), Dylan Field (Figma), Akshay Kothari (Notion), and Jason Warner (GitHub). This Pro subscription marks the company’s inaugural revenue-generating service.
