Introducing the TON Wallet

This wallet, known as the TON wallet, derives its name from the TON blockchain upon which it is constructed.

Its direct integration into the Telegram application is intended to simplify the process of entering the cryptocurrency space for newcomers.

Global Wallet Adoption and Transaction Volume

Telegram initially launched crypto wallet functionality for international users in 2023.

However, expansion into the U.S. market was delayed pending clarification of regulatory requirements.

Over 100 million users worldwide activated their wallets during the previous year, representing approximately 10% of Telegram’s total active user base of 1 billion.

TON Blockchain Activity

Currently, the TON blockchain processes around 334,000 transactions daily, according to publicly available data.

The integration aims to provide a more accessible and streamlined experience for individuals interested in exploring digital currencies.
