TechCrunch Launches Survey of European Tech Ecosystems Beyond Major Capitals

TechCrunch is initiating a significant new undertaking: a comprehensive survey targeting founders and investors situated in European cities beyond the prominent capital hubs.

Over the coming weeks, we will be soliciting direct input from entrepreneurs within these cities, allowing them to characterize their respective ecosystems using their own perspectives.

Tech startup founders and investors located in these cities are encouraged to complete the survey available here.

We are especially keen to receive responses from women founders and investors within these communities.

Building on Previous Investor Surveys

This initiative builds upon a substantial survey of investors, conducted over the past six months, primarily focusing on Europe’s largest capital cities.

These surveys are part of a continuing series of investigations undertaken for ExtraCrunch, our subscription-based service dedicated to analyzing critical topics for both startups and investors.

Capturing Growth in Emerging European Hubs

This current effort will focus on gathering insights from founders and investors in other European cities, aiming to document the expansion of European tech hubs as viewed by those directly involved.

We are interested in understanding how your city’s startup environment is changing, the effects of COVID-19 on the technology sector, and the anticipated future development of your city.

Submissions will be published with minimal editing, and we request responses of at least one to two paragraphs in length for each question.
