Creatopy Appoints Tammy Nam as New CEO

Creatopy, the AI-powered platform for automated digital ad creation, has announced the appointment of Tammy Nam as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Executive Background

Prior to joining Creatopy, Nam served as both the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Picsart, a prominent photo-editing application. Her experience also includes a tenure as CEO of the video streaming service, Viki.

Nam communicated to TechCrunch through email that Creatopy’s search focused on a U.S.-based leader.

Strategic Alignment

The ideal candidate needed experience in scaling early-stage companies, familiarity with European founders – given the product’s initial development in Romania – and a strong understanding of marketing technology.

“I possessed the qualifications they were seeking,” Nam stated.

Leadership Transition

In addition to her role as CEO, Nam will also be joining the Creatopy board of directors. Dan Oros, the startup’s former CEO, is transitioning into an advisory position.

Recent Funding and Growth

Last year, Creatopy secured $10 million in Series A funding, led by European venture capital firms 3VC and Point Nine. Eva Arh, a partner at 3VC, lauded Nam as “an exceptional operator.”

The company reports significant revenue growth, claiming a 400% increase in mid-market and enterprise revenue between February 2024 and February 2025.

Much of this expansion occurred within the last six months.

Creatopy’s customer base includes prominent organizations such as AstraZeneca, NASCAR, and The Economist.

Nam highlighted the company’s success in attracting large enterprise clients, even within highly regulated sectors like pharmaceuticals and banking.

Customers consistently praise the platform for its user-friendly interface, distinctive features, and dedicated customer support.

Nam emphasized that Creatopy differentiates itself by combining AI capabilities with a focus on understanding and addressing specific customer requirements.

This approach delivers a high level of personalized service, even as large language models become more widespread.

Brand Safety Measures

Maintaining brand safety is a key priority for Creatopy.

Marketing managers can upload brand kits during account setup, ensuring that all AI-generated advertisements adhere to established brand guidelines.

Boosting Productivity

“Our AI is designed to enhance, not replace, strategic decision-making,” Nam explained.

Customers have reported productivity gains of 10x or more, due to the elimination of repetitive tasks associated with creating numerous ad variations across different sizes, formats, and languages.
