MLOps Startup InfuseAI Secures $4.3 Million in Series A Funding

The development, training, and subsequent deployment of artificial intelligence models require significant time and resources for organizations. MLOps (machine learning operations) companies address this challenge by assisting clients in scaling their AI technologies effectively.

InfuseAI, a Taiwan-based MLOps startup, has recently announced the successful completion of a $4.3 million Series A funding round. Wistron Corporation spearheaded the investment, with additional participation from Hive Ventures, Top Taiwan Venture Capital Group, Silicon Valley Taiwan Investments, and 500 Startups.

Growing Market for MLOps Solutions

Established in 2018, InfuseAI identifies a substantial market opportunity. The company estimates the MLOps solutions market in Taiwan to be valued at $30 million annually. Furthermore, research from Cognilytica projects the global market will expand to approximately $4 billion by 2025.

InfuseAI currently serves a diverse clientele, including prominent Taiwanese institutions such as E.SUN (a leading bank), SinoPac Holdings, and Chimei.

InfuseAI’s Platform Offerings

InfuseAI empowers businesses to deploy and manage machine learning models through comprehensive, ready-to-use solutions. PrimeHub, their flagship platform, provides a complete environment for model training.

PrimeHub incorporates cloud or on-premise cluster computing capabilities, including container orchestration via Kubernetes, alongside collaborative tools designed to facilitate teamwork.

PrimeHub Deploy, another key product, enables clients to train, deploy, update, and continuously monitor their AI models throughout their lifecycle.

Investment Rationale

Yan Lee, founder and managing partner at Hive Ventures, commented on the investment. He stated that as companies across manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and other industries strive to broaden their AI operations and model deployments, a platform like InfuseAI is essential.

Lee emphasized the need for seamless collaboration between developers and data scientists, highlighting how InfuseAI aligns with Hive Ventures’ investment strategy focused on platforms and software supporting enterprise AI adoption.
