sustain.life Launches Carbon Measurement Platform, Secures $7M Pre-Seed

The Growing Landscape of Carbon Emission Tracking Platforms

The number of businesses emerging with solutions to assist organizations in quantifying and lessening their carbon footprint is rapidly increasing. Several companies, including Normative and Plan A, already operate in this space, each offering varying levels of detail and different methodologies.

Introducing Sustain.Life

Sustain.Life is the newest entrant, officially exiting its beta phase today. The company positions itself as an “affordable, easy-to-use SaaS platform” designed to facilitate the adoption of more environmentally responsible business practices.

To date, Sustain.Life has secured $7 million in pre-seed funding, though the identities of the investors remain undisclosed.

Early Adopters and Platform Features

Sustain.Life has already onboarded several clients during its beta testing, including Dame, You.com, and the Sustainable Cannabis Coalition.

The platform provides a free introductory tier, granting access to core carbon accounting functionalities. This includes calculators for scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

Full access to the platform’s comprehensive features is available at a subscription cost of $250 per month.

A Suite of Sustainability Tools

Sustain.Life offers a diverse range of tools, encompassing:

  • Emissions calculators
  • Program management tools
  • Standards alignment tools
  • Employee benefit offerings
  • A sustainability policies builder

Founding and Leadership

Annalee Bloomfield, CEO of Sustain.Life and also a co-founder of 4Sided Venture Studio, stated the company’s mission.

Sustain.Life represents the inaugural venture to be launched by 4Sided Venture Studio, a startup incubator focused on building and investing in B2B SaaS companies.
