Real-time performance notifications will be provided to publishers, enabling them to identify the most engaging clips for cross-promotion on platforms like YouTube Shorts.
Creators who link their YouTube accounts will have the two highest-performing clips automatically uploaded to their Shorts channels.
AI-Powered Highlight Creation and Automated Promotion
Currently accessible on the iOS app, with an Android release scheduled for next week, Substack leverages AI technology to generate concise highlight clips from video recordings.
Furthermore, the platform now automatically generates promotional materials when a livestream is scheduled.
These assets can be readily shared on Notes, YouTube, and various other social media channels, streamlining the promotional process for publishers.
Simplified Guest Invitations and Recent Updates
A convenient addition is the ability to invite guests to livestreams via email or SMS, accommodating individuals who may not have a Substack account.
This update follows recent introductions of audio-only livestreams and a continuously scrolling video feed.
Substack made live video functionality available to all publishers earlier this year, marking a substantial expansion of its platform’s offerings.
