Pesto AI Background
Established in 2017 by Ayush Jaiswal and Rahul Jaimini – a co-founder of the Swiggy food delivery service – Pesto AI gained support from prominent figures like Ryan Hoover of Product Hunt and Sahil Lavingia of Gumroad.
Crunchbase data indicates that Pesto AI successfully secured over $8 million in funding throughout its operation.
Operational Changes
Following the acquisition, Pesto AI will cease its independent operations. The company’s LinkedIn profile listed 71 employees prior to the acquisition, though the exact number transitioning to Scale AI remains unconfirmed.
Leadership Transition
Ayush Jaiswal, formerly of Pesto AI, has announced his new role as the head of growth at Scale AI. He expressed enthusiasm about joining Scale and continuing to explore the potential of AI in creating opportunities.
Jaiswal stated in a blog post, “This move represents the next phase in a long-held passion – leveraging AI to generate impactful opportunities globally.”
