efounders Launches New Fintech Startup Studio

eFounders is broadening its scope with the establishment of Logic Founders, a new venture studio. This new entity will concentrate specifically on launching fintech startups. Camille Tyan (shown above) will be heading up this latest initiative.

For the last decade, eFounders has been instrumental in the creation of numerous software-as-a-service businesses aimed at enhancing workplace efficiency. Notable companies within their portfolio include Front, Aircall, and Spendesk.

Camille Tyan formerly co-founded PayPlug, a payments solutions provider that was later acquired by Natixis (Groupe BPCE). He intends to replicate the successful eFounders approach, but with a dedicated focus on a specific industry. Logic Founders will generate concepts for novel startups, then bring on board two co-founders to develop the product over an initial period of 12 to 18 months.

The goal is for these startups to achieve product-market fit and secure seed funding following this developmental stage. While the studio will retain an ownership share in the startup, it will then shift its attention to new ventures.

Those familiar with eFounders will recall its prior involvement with several fintech companies, including Spendesk, Upflow, Multis, and Swan. Future fintech projects are anticipated to be developed under the Logic Founders brand.

The studio plans to develop financial products built with an API-first approach. This strategy aligns with the growing trend of embedded finance – the idea that financial services will increasingly be integrated into non-financial platforms that can benefit from fintech capabilities. Potential areas of focus include payments orchestration, asset securitization, lending APIs, cryptocurrency solutions, and B2B identity verification.
