Rocketium Raises $3.2M to Revolutionize Marketing Campaigns

Rocketium Secures $3.2 Million to Expand Automated Visual Content Creation

Many design teams juggle A/B testing, personalized ad creation, and formatting content for diverse digital channels. Some are responsible for campaigns encompassing vast quantities of images, videos, and other visual assets. Rocketium, a company headquartered in Bangalore, addresses this challenge by automating significant portions of the process. This automation allows teams to efficiently scale their campaigns while simultaneously lessening their overall workload.

The company recently announced a $3.2 million funding round, spearheaded by Emergent Ventures, to facilitate its launch into the United States market and further expansion into other regions.

Notable Clients and Platform Reach

Rocketium currently serves a diverse clientele, including prominent companies such as Urban Company, CasaOne, BigBasket, cure.fit, and Meesho. The platform reports that the visuals generated through its services reach an audience of 100 million end users.

This latest investment increases Rocketium’s total funding to $4.2 million, building upon a prior $1 million seed round contributed by Blume Ventures and 1Crowd.

Future Plans: Self-Service and Integrations

Currently operating on an invite-only basis, Rocketium intends to introduce self-service options and purchasing capabilities in 2022. Furthermore, the company plans to broaden its integration capabilities with leading e-commerce and advertising platforms.

Existing integrations already include popular tools like Salesforce, Mailchimp, YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and Hubspot.

How Rocketium Streamlines Visual Content Production

Design teams utilizing Rocketium begin by creating a foundational set of templates within software like Photoshop or After Effects. These templates are then imported into the Rocketium platform.

Rocketium then automates the customization of advertisements for various scenarios. For instance, a retailer offering free shipping in specific geographic areas can input this information into a spreadsheet, and Rocketium will automatically update the corresponding text within the templates.

Subsequently, the platform formats both advertisements and videos for different platforms, adapting them to specifications such as web banner sizes or the square format preferred by Instagram.

Case Study: cure.fit's Enhanced Campaign Efficiency

cure.fit, a fitness application, leverages Rocketium to execute approximately five to six campaigns monthly, promoting different membership plans. The platform empowers cure.fit to significantly reduce the production timeline for visual content and to personalize campaigns based on user interests, demographic data, and geographic locations.

Rocketium also provides integrated tools for A/B testing, precise ad targeting, and comprehensive data analytics.

Competitive Landscape

Several companies offer solutions for marketing teams creating visual advertising campaigns, including Canva, InVideo, and Lumen5. Satej Sirur, co-founder and CEO of Rocketium, explained to TechCrunch that Rocketium is specifically engineered for clients requiring the creation of hundreds or even thousands of ads, videos, and other creative assets each month.

The platform is capable of generating up to 10,000 visuals simultaneously.

While Canva, InVideo, and Lumen5 primarily offer pre-designed templates, Rocketium distinguishes itself by focusing on users who prefer to import their own custom designs created in programs like Photoshop and After Effects.

Ankur Jain, founder and partner at Emergent Ventures, stated, “From high-volume content production to data-driven campaign optimization, Rocketium is challenging traditional organizational silos to deliver a product that is truly loved and relied on by performance marketers and designers alike.”
