Revolut Secures New Funding at $75 Billion Valuation
Revolut, the British neobank, has successfully completed a new funding round through a share sale. This transaction establishes the company’s valuation at $75 billion.
Investment Details
The funding round was spearheaded by prominent investors including Coatue, Greenoaks, Dragoneer, and Fidelity. Additional participation came from NVentures (Nvidia’s venture arm), Andreessen Horowitz, Franklin Templeton, and investors represented by T. Rowe Price Associates.
While the precise amount raised in this share sale wasn't disclosed, Revolut confirmed that the deal provided an opportunity for employees to liquidate their shares.
Growth and Valuation
As of August 2025, the company’s post-money valuation stood at $48 billion. To date, Revolut has secured a total of $2.89 billion in venture capital funding, as reported by PitchBook.
Service Offerings and Expansion
Established in 2015, Revolut provides a diverse suite of financial services. These include multi-currency accounts, payment and transfer solutions, cryptocurrency products, and insurance offerings.
The recent capital injection will be strategically allocated to accelerate the neobank’s international expansion efforts. Significant investments are being made to broaden its global footprint.
Global Reach
Beyond its home base in the U.K., where it awaits final banking approval, Revolut currently holds a banking license within the European Union.
Its operational presence extends to numerous countries, including:
- Australia
- Japan
- New Zealand
- Singapore
- Brazil
- The U.S.
Recent developments include launching operations in India in October and preparing for a 2026 launch in Colombia. A banking license has also been secured in Mexico.
Future expansion plans encompass Argentina, entry into the African market (beginning with South Africa), and an in-principal payments license in the UAE.
Financial Performance
Revolut has demonstrated strong financial growth. Revenue increased by 72% in 2024, reaching $4 billion. The company reports achieving $1 billion in annualized revenue this year.
The company’s 2024 annual report indicates a net profit of $1 billion (£790 million). The launch of Revolut X, its cryptocurrency exchange within the Wealth division, contributed significantly to this success, with revenue surging 298% to $647 million in 2024 (compared to $158 million in 2023).
Future Outlook
Revolut has ambitious goals, aiming to serve 100 million customers by mid-2027. The company also intends to expand into over 30 new markets by 2030.
“This milestone reflects the remarkable progress we have made in the last twelve months towards our vision of building the first truly global bank, serving 100 million customers across 100 countries,” stated Nik Storonsky, CEO and co-founder of Revolut.
