Effortlessly Manage Browser Cookies with CookieKiller for Firefox
Are you seeking a straightforward method for handling the cookies stored within your browser? Discover how quickly and easily you can achieve this with the CookieKiller extension designed for Firefox.
Accessing the CookieKiller Extension
Upon installation, CookieKiller can be accessed in two distinct ways. The first is via the “Status Bar Icon”. This icon reveals a convenient “Right Click Menu”.
A left-click on the “Status Bar Icon” displays a current listing of all cookies present in your browser. Selecting a specific cookie from this list will immediately remove it.
Observe the three commands positioned at the top of the interface.
The alternative access point is through the “Context Menu”. Similar to the “Status Bar Icon”, this menu also presents a current list of your browser’s cookies.
CookieKiller in Operation
For demonstration purposes, we utilized the “Status Bar Icon” to delete cookies. By clicking on the “google.com.sg” entry, we simultaneously removed its associated “sub-cookie” (indicated by the indented listing).
Refreshing the cookie list confirms that both entries have been successfully removed.
A page refresh reinstated the cookies for further testing. Subsequently, we opted to eliminate all cookies at once by selecting the “Kill All Cookies” option.
This action resulted in complete cookie elimination.
If the “Cookie Block Feature” is activated, a “dotted square outline” will appear around the “Status Bar Icon”.
Configuring Preferences
The settings menu is designed for ease of use. Simply select or deselect the options you wish to enable or disable. You can also configure the extension to permanently block cookies that have been removed.
Concluding Remarks
For those seeking a simple and readily accessible solution for managing browser cookies, the CookieKiller extension is certainly worth investigating.
