Disable Tab Scrolling in Firefox - Quick Tip

Managing Tab Display in Firefox
A common frustration for some Firefox 2.0 users involves the tab scrolling buttons that appear when numerous tabs are open. Many would prefer a view displaying all tabs simultaneously, even if reduced in size. It is possible to adjust this behavior.
Disabling Tab Scrolling Without the Tab Mix Plus Extension
To modify this setting, begin by typing about:config into the Firefox address bar.
Next, input browser.tabs.tabMinWidth, or enough of the phrase to locate the corresponding option.
Setting the value of browser.tabs.tabMinWidth to 0 will effectively disable the tab scrolling feature. Alternatively, a smaller value, such as 50 or 75, can be assigned for a partially reduced tab size.
Disabling Tab Scrolling With the Tab Mix Plus Extension
Complete disabling of this feature isn't achievable when the Tab Mix Plus extension is installed. However, a viable workaround exists.
Utilizing multiple rows of tabs provides a degree of functionality similar to displaying all tabs at once. This can be a useful alternative.
To enable multi-row tabs, navigate to Tools > Tab Mix Plus Options. Select the Display tab, and then change the dropdown menu labeled "When tabs don't fit width" to Multi-row.
You can also specify the maximum number of rows to be displayed through this same menu.

Within the "Tab" section of the Tab Mix Plus options, the minimum tab width can also be adjusted. The extension offers a vast array of customization possibilities.
