putting belfast and derry on the techcrunch map — techcrunch’s european cities survey 2021

TechCrunch Launches Survey of European Tech Ecosystems

TechCrunch is initiating a significant new undertaking: a comprehensive survey targeting founders and investors situated in European cities beyond the major capital hubs.

Over the coming weeks, entrepreneurs across these locations will be invited to share insights into their respective ecosystems, directly from their experiences.

This represents an opportunity to highlight Belfast and Derry within TechCrunch’s coverage!

Tech startup founders and investors in these cities are encouraged to complete the survey, accessible through this link.

Building on Previous Investor Surveys

This initiative builds upon a substantial survey of investors, conducted over the past six months, primarily focusing on capital cities.

These surveys are part of an ongoing series for Extra Crunch, TechCrunch’s subscription service dedicated to in-depth analysis of critical topics for startups and investors.

The initial phase of surveys concentrated on European capitals, with reports available for review here.

Focus on Emerging European Hubs

This current survey will focus on founders and investors in Europe’s secondary cities, aiming to document the growth of these hubs as perceived by those actively involved.

We are interested in understanding how startup communities are developing, the impact of COVID-19 on the tech sector, and the anticipated future evolution of these cities.

Submissions will be published with minimal editing, and responses of at least one to two paragraphs are preferred.

Therefore, if you are a tech startup founder or investor in one of these cities, please contribute by completing our survey form here.

Your participation is greatly appreciated. For any inquiries, please contact mike@techcrunch.com or reach out to @mikebutcher on Twitter.
